Washington, DC—American ethanol producers are rising to meet the growing demand for ethanol around the country.

According to Energy Information Administration (EIA) data, U.S. ethanol producers averaged 479,000 barrels of daily output (b/d).

Likewise, demand for ethanol also climbed to 497,000 b/d, as calculated by the Renewable Fuels Association.
